Bio

Sarah Wedgeworth joined Shrader & Associates, LLP in 2018, focusing her practice on advocating for clients who have been diagnosed with mesothelioma. A crucial factor in her decision to becoming a practicing attorney was the ability to provide counsel and aid those in need, and she was confident that through the avenue of law she would be able to make meaningful change.

Education

Sarah earned her B.A degree from the University of Texas in San Antonio, where she majored in Psychology with a minor in Business. As a student-athlete, she competed in both cross country and track and field receiving AII-Academic and Athletic honors.

Following graduation, Sarah attended the South Texas College of Law Houston. During her years in law school, Sarah competed as an oral advocate for the school’s nationally acclaimed advocacy program. Namely, her team remained undefeated throughout the 31st Annual Judge August R. Rendigs National Products Liability Moot Court Competition securing STCL’s 130th National Advocacy Championship and took home the “Best Petitioner Brief” award on behalf of her school.

Experience

In addition to school and advocacy programs, Sarah clerked at various respected firms gaining experience in personal injury, family, and criminal law during her time at South Texas. The experience gained by working in varied areas of law allowed her to discover her true passions to defend underrepresented injured persons. Sarah continues to fight for change making a difference both in our law community and in her personal and professional endeavors.
